Radiant 355 LD

The MagicPRISM is a compact, motorized optical parametric oscillator (OPO) module with a conversion efficiency as high as forty percent. The Ring-Cavity design is configured such that the pump and the OPO beams travel in the same direction. Two nonlinear crystals are positioned on a computer controlled, motorized rotation stage to acheive tuning. The pump beam is coupled into the Ring-Cavity and the signal/idler beams are coupled out of the ring cavity by a coated beam splitter. These design attributes produce highly stable and efficient output. The MagicPRISMTM OPO is offered as a stand-alone accessory to be pumped by the end-user’s laser.

  • Protective Hard Shell Cases (PHSC)
    Includes two protective hard cases with custom foam padding.
  • Extended UV Tuning Range (UV)
    Extends tuning range to 210 – 410 nm. Decreases OPO by about 20%
  • Fiber Delivery Kit (FD)
    Can be optimized for either ultra-violet (UV), visible (VIS), or near-infrared (NIR) tuning ranges.
    Externally mounted fiber delivery kit includes mounts, coupling lens and fiber. Fiber specifications: 2.5 m long, 1 mm diameter core, NA = 0.22
  • Motorized Variable Attenuator (MVA)
    End-user installable/removable. Reduces max OPO by 10-15% when installed. Computer controlled. Can only be used with visible and near-infrared wavelengths
  • Fourth Harmonic Generator (4HG)
    Residual or full power 532 nm beam used to generate 266 nm. The fourth harmonic installed on an extension base plate that is mounted directly to the side of the RADIANT.
  • Fifth Harmonic Generator (5HG)
    Fifth Harmonic Generator installed on an extension base plate that is mounted directly to the side of the RADIANT.
  • Energy Meter (EM)
    Real-time pulse energy monitoring, logging for data normalization. Reduces OPO energy by 8%.
  • Wavemeter (WM)
    Integrated wavemeter for real-time wavelength monitoring
  • Extended Deep UV Tuning Range (EUV)
    Extends tuning range to 193 – 210 nm. Hermetically sealed module. End-user installable/removable
    Decreases OPO by > 60% when installed.
  • Extended Warranty (EXW)
    Extends full system warranty for one additional year, for a total of two years. Includes all options except for fibers.
